I downloaded this photo from Facebook after liking it on Will Smith's page. He is having several events that are attracting an array of celebrities from movies, television, and music alike. Though there were many photos of celebrities to choose from, it was this photo that sparked my attention. I saw a vision. There have been plenty of rumors all around the internet about certain movies starting production, and fans demanding sequels of all kinds. I for one do not like the speculation of movies unless they are really in the works. When I looked at this photo, I remembered the first time I saw Bad Boys, or Rush Hour on the big screen. I remembered how I couldn't stop laughing during Martin and Will's first argument as partners in crime. I remembered how Chris meeting Jackie Chan during the first opening scenes of Rush Hour was one of the funniest moments in my movie-going experience ever. So that would explain this feeling.
Making new franchises are great for fans and people who appreciate movies. I feel that instead of creating a sequel to either one of these franchises, Bad Boys or Rush Hour, there should be a production started to combine them somehow. While some may not find that interesting, I challenge you to think about it for a moment. Will Smith, Chris Tucker, Martin Lawrence, and Jackie Chan. That would be BIG. It would definitely be a box office smash, hilarious, and action packed. So for those who actually read blogs and follow movies please feel free to comment and share your thoughts on this subject.
